Big news, we’re finalists in TWO categories at British Franchise Association 2026 Franchisor of the Year – Expanding and Franchise Support! 🎉

Next year is 10 years since we launched franchising, built on 45 years of Radfield Home Care. We started out being named Emerging Franchisor of the Year back in 2019. Now we’re finalists for Expanding Franchisor. That’s quite a journey.

It all comes back to our BeThere promise: being there for those who care, those who need us, and what matters most. None of it happens without our franchise partners, who build businesses rooted in genuinely caring for their communities, and our care professionals, who turn up every day and make people’s lives that bit better.

This World Franchise Day, we’re looking back at the Radfield Home Care story. From one family care home to a national home care franchise 💙

🏡 1982: Radfield Residential Care Home opens in Shrewsbury.
🤝 2008: siblings Dr Hannah MacKechnie and Alex Green launch Radfield Home Care.
📍 2017: our first franchise office opens.
🏅 2019: BFA Emerging Franchisor of the Year.
🏆 2026: named The Most Outstanding Home Care Group.
🎉 2027: 10 years of Radfield franchising.
