To me contentment is an ultimate magic.

This beautiful feral cat mother arrived here a few months ago, desperate. hungry and alone. I started offering her food and our friendship has grown. She gave birth to four beautiful kittens and they have all now made this their home too ♡

She arrived at a time that I myself was experiencing something very difficult. Having her and her kittens here, watching her heal, flourish and watching her kittens grow into playful, cheeky little characters has brought me immeasurable joy.

I see them and their contentment. They make me feel content and my heart sings just being able to sit in their company ♡

They have been the most wonderful beings to share my Animal Reiki journey with, showing me how touch is not necessary, connection comes in varying forms and can feel different with every animal I work with ♡

Cats feature highly in this! As do horses and Faeries.

I’ve been really noticing how my beloved animal companions show me stories, feelings and really their character and heart ♡

Are you noticing that Autumn’s bounty is here - in July?

Haw’s turning rosy red, Rowan’s branches hanging low with the weight of her red berries. Squirrels squabbling over Hazel nuts?

Our lives would have followed the thread of the land, the seasons, what food was available and where/ when in a time not really that long ago, but now I fear we barely notice what the trees are telling us. Not just in a spiritual way, in a physical way.

Trees can foretell the season ahead - if they are producing their seed/ fruit now - how will this look in Autumn & Winter - what will they look like?

This Autumn bounty feeds our wildlife, but as I wandered early this morning I noticed how eerily quiet it was. Little bird song, air still, rooks absent from their rookery. Just the noise of the road.

Perhaps, you are noticing how you feel in your own body, how you yourself feel differently this summer? How the energy of the land feels different?

The seasons are not just shifting, they are changing and with that, everything changes.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the simple things in my life.

The joy of spending time with my feral cat family. No agenda, no pressure to achieve anything with them.

He has such a kind heart and adores his human. He had a couple of lovely big releases during our time together ♡

Divination with the Land ~ yesterday saw beautiful conversations both spoken and unspoken.

Vulnerability met with the company of ravens, the trees and the hills.

We wandered, paused, chatted, drummed under the Sycamore guardian tree, and set backs to the earth for a drum journey.

My next Divination event will be in September, details soon ♡
