🎳 Skittles Fun at Briarfields! 🎳
Today our residents enjoyed a brilliant game of skittles! There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of encouragement and, of course, a few questionable bowling techniques! 😂Everyone had great fun trying to knock them all down, with plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. ❤️ A lovely Morning spent together although we’re not sure everyone agreed with the final scores! 😂🎳

You were absolutely amazing at our summer fayre! The children (and adults!) loved every minute, and you really helped make the day extra special. 🩷🧚‍♀️

🌸 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM Briarfields residental care home ! 🌸

What a fantastic day we had at our Summer Fayre on 8th August! ☀️🎉

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped and supported us, especially our wonderful staff and residents. Your time, hard work and enthusiasm helped make the day such a success. ❤️

I would also like to thank everyone who came along, donated, bought from our stalls and supported our fayre. Your generosity means so much to us.

I’m absolutely delighted to share that we raised an amazing £815.45! 🎉👏

All of the money raised will go towards our Residents’ Comfort Fund, helping us to provide extra treats, activities and special moments for our residents. 🥰

There are far too many people to thank individually, but please know how truly grateful I am to each and every one of you.

🎬🍿 Oliver Twist Film Morning! 🍿🎬

This morning, our residents enjoyed stepping back in time with a classic showing of Oliver Twist! We created a cosy cinema atmosphere for everyone to sit back, relax and enjoy the film together, complete with plenty of delicious popcorn. There were lots of smiles and happy faces as our residents enjoyed the film, the treats and, most importantly, spending time together. ❤️🎞️🍿

🍦🍓 Sarah’s Ice Cream Parlour… one day only (thank goodness!) 😂
The Manager decided she fancied a career change today and took on the very important job of serving ice creams to our residents and staff.
Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Ice cream, strawberry sauce and sprinkles… what could possibly go wrong?! 🤦‍♀️😂
Turns out Sarah’s portion control with the strawberry sauce is questionable, her sprinkle technique needs serious improvement, and the clean up operation probably took longer than serving them! 🤣🍓
There was sauce dripping, sprinkles absolutely EVERYWHERE and some very messy customers… although we won’t name and shame! 👀😂
Everyone enjoyed them though, and there were lots of laughs along the way. ❤️
Safe to say, Sarah won’t be handing in her notice just yet… Briarfields Manager by day, dodgy ice cream lady when required! 🍦🤣

We had such a lovely time at our Summer Fayre at the residential home! 💕 There was plenty of fun, laughter, delicious treats and wonderful memories made together. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us, and to everyone who helped make the day so special. We really appreciate all your kindness, time and generosity. ❤️

Our residents at Briafields enjoyed a fun and creative mosaic craft session using dried nuts and legumes. 🌰🫘

The activity encouraged creativity, concentration, and plenty of conversation, with everyone designing their own unique mosaics. It was wonderful to see our residents so engaged, sharing ideas, and taking pride in their finished creations.

Another enjoyable afternoon filled with smiles, creativity, and achievement. 💛

A lovely day on Haven Unit at Briarfields Care Home! 🌿

Today our residents enjoyed spending time together planting a selection of herbs for our garden. It was a wonderful activity that encouraged conversation, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. We can't wait to watch our herbs grow and enjoy their lovely scents in the weeks to come.

Well done to everyone who took part!
