A bank holiday is in the horizon. Great a long weekend, fun things to do.
Not everyone feels that way. Holidays can feel lonely if it looks like everyone else is having fun. Some people feel overwhelmed, under pressure to join in. A simple grounding technique can help to bring us back to the present.

Contentment isn't about having a perfect life. It's about finding peace with where you are, while still allowing yourself to grow.

For some, contentment comes from slowing down. For others, it's learning to let go of unrealistic expectations, setting healthier boundaries, or reconnecting with what truly matters.

If feeling content feels out of reach, you're not alone. Talking things through with a counsellor can help you better understand what's getting in the way and support you in building a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

Counsellor Jayne shares the signs and symptoms of anxiety and how counselling can help.

Many of us feel shame about feeling angry after someone has died. How could we be angry at someone for dying. How can we feel angry that someone else still has their partner, friend or family member.
Anger is a normal part of grief. Sometimes trying to carry those emotions alone is too much. Counselling offers a safe non judgemental space to bring those hidden feelings out in the open. The things we can't share with someone else.

Anger during grief is more common than people realise, but often people feel shame when admitting they feel this way. Feeling angry is a normal emotion.
