Fifteen photos from our summer and very little evidence that either of us knows how to sit still.

There was plenty of sailing, the Shropshire awards, Shakespeare’s Globe, a BBQ festival, a wedding, catch-ups with friends, a trip over to Ireland and a climb aboard a replica Spanish galleon.

We also watched the best solar eclipse visible from the UK since 1999, established that hard hats are no defence against seagulls and discovered that flying my birthday kite in a semi-gale isn’t a hobby. It’s a wrestling match.

Apparently, that’s what we call a rest.

Now the bank holiday’s is almost upon us, the schools are going back and the diary’s filling up again.

If you already know September’s going to knock you about, book your sessions while you can still choose your time. Thursdays and Saturday slots go first. They always do.

What was the best bit of your summer?

After that summer, you both deserve this.

Two private floats. Fire & Ice together. One afternoon that fixes what five heatwaves broke.

Normally £183. This month, £138.

Ten days left to book it. Link in comments

Tonight, about 90% of the sun goes missing over Shropshire. Peak around ten past seven. Look west.

Here’s what gets me.

Half the country will stand in a garden for the best part of two hours, staring at nothing in particular, wearing cardboard glasses. No productivity. No purpose. Not one person feeling guilty about it.

And most of them haven’t given themselves an hour off since Easter.

Turns out we don’t need rest. We need permission.

We’re shut today, which is either poor planning or excellent timing depending on how you look at it. But we’re back tomorrow, and Thrifty Thursday floats are £49.

Same switch-off. Every week. No cloud cover required.

Proper glasses tonight, obviously.

The Car Park is showing off now.
Red.
Blue.
White.
It's gone from colour coordination.....to full-on flag production.
We're no longer running a wellness centre.
Apparently we're curating an outdoor art exhibition.
See you for Episode 5.

Blackberry picking: 10/10.
Floating the next day: educational.

Yesterday we came home with enough blackberries for Suzie to bake an absolutely cracking pie.

Today I treated myself to a float.

What I hadn’t factored in was that every tiny scratch from wrestling blackberry bushes had been patiently waiting for 500kg of warm Epsom salts to remind me it existed.

The salts didn’t just find them.

They conducted a full inventory.

Turns out you can lie in complete silence… and still make quite a lot of noise.

The pie was worth it.

The float was still worth it.

Next time, I’ll leave 24 hours between the two.

Anyone else ever learnt a painfully obvious lesson the hard way?

We’ve accidentally recreated Father Ted’s finest moment.

The ducks are small. The pod isn’t. It’s just the camera angle.

If you’re now hearing a certain Irish priest explaining perspective… you’re welcome.

The pod really is roomier than photos suggest. That’s the bit first-timers always mention.

How many ducks can you count? No zooming.

We tried something new. You showed us what actually works.
Earlier this year we opened seven days a week and introduced "Try It Tuesdays".
On paper, it made perfect sense. More days open. More opportunities to visit.
What it actually taught us was something much simpler.
Five focused days serve you better than seven stretched ones.
So we've listened, and we've made a change.
From this week we're back to opening Thursday through Monday, and that also means Thrifty Thursdays are back where they belong.
A 60-minute float for just £49. Every Thursday. No strings attached.

Running a little leaner means we can put our time and energy exactly where it belongs—creating the experience you've come to know and keeping the quality exactly where it should be, rather than spreading ourselves too thin.
Not every experiment gives you the result you expected.
The good ones teach you something even better.
If Thursday has been missing from your routine, we'd love to welcome you back.

Right… we’re doing this again.

I nipped over to the homeland for a couple of days.

Apparently I came back with another holiday shirt.

At this point I’m beginning to think I’ve accidentally started a mid-life clothing subscription.

Last week’s shirt divided opinion. Some of you wanted it burned. Others seemed convinced I should be serving Piña Coladas with every float.

So today’s important question is…

Is this one an improvement… or should I be banned from buying my own clothes?

Score it out of 10.

(Just remember… I’m the bloke who decides the float water temperature.)🤔🤪

Pregnancy asks a lot of your body.

Floating gives it an hour off.

No weight on your back. No pressure on your hips. No trying to find a comfortable position.

Just warm water, complete support, and a chance to properly relax before life gets even busier.

If you’re expecting, we’d love to look after you.

Ever feel like you're taking every turning... except the one that actually helps?
Too much going on. Can't switch off.
Aching. Sleeping badly.
Just feeling a bit... off.
Funny how we'll put up with that for weeks, yet think twice about taking a couple of hours for ourselves.

We've got a handful of sessions available tomorrow. Once they're go, they're gone.

Maybe tomorrow is the day you stop pushing through and press reset instead.
