This week's Round-Up...

Another lovely week of creative, engaging sessions across the team…

Therapist Katie spent part of a session focusing on idioms with the young person choosing their favourite idiom song followed by a quiz to build understanding. The session finished with a very popular choice… Uno Extreme! 🃏
And of course, a quick admin reset fuelled by coffee & cake ☕🍰

Therapist Ami has been using a much-loved game of Hedbanz (a homemade version that’s been built up over time!) to support language skills. This week also included some brilliant descriptive language work, exploring slime by talking about how it looked, felt, stretched, and changed. A perfect mix of curiosity and communication ✨

Weekly Round-Up 💚

It’s been a week full of meaningful moments, progress, and lovely feedback across the team…

Therapist Jade has said goodbye to a school she has supported for the past three academic years. During that time, so much has been achieved, and the school is now well set up to continue with the strategies put in place. A heartfelt send-off with some lovely gifts marked the end of this chapter ❤️

Therapist Laura received a thoughtful thank you card and flowers this week. A recent therapy team meeting within one of the schools has also led to the creation of a shared therapy space 🌼

Therapist Katie has been delivering a child-led session for informal assessment, using symbols to support independence and enable the young person to select ingredients and equipment. An easy-read recipe was used, alongside Blanks Level questions to support understanding and communication throughout the session 🍰

A week of celebrating progress, partnership, and the impact of tailored support ✨
