πŸ’—πŸš΄ CYCLING FOR ADA – 32 HOURSπŸš΄πŸ’—

This October, we're taking on a very special challenge to celebrate an incredible little girl and give something back to the people who looked after her.

Ada, the daughter of our GP Assistant Rachel, was born at just 32 weeks and spent the first weeks of her life in the Telford Neonatal Unit at Princess Royal Hospital.

As Ada celebrates her 1st birthday, the team at Clive Medical Practice will be cycling for 32 hours during the week commencing 26th October – one hour for every week of her pregnancy before she was born.

🚴 An exercise bike will be set up in our waiting room, staff will all be taking turns to help us reach our 32-hour goal.

πŸ’— We're raising money for the Telford Neonatal Unit to say thank you for the outstanding care, compassion and support they gave Ada and her family, and to help support other premature babies and their families in the future.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.

πŸ‘‡ Please support our fundraiser by donating here:

Please help us spread the word by liking, sharing and commenting on this post. Together we can celebrate Ada's amazing journey and support an incredible cause.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. πŸ’—

Love Your Liver Month

Did you know, your liver performs over 500 jobs to keep you alive? So, it’s important to show it some love! When it’s damaged, the liver can repair itself, but only up to a point. Sadly, people with liver disease often don’t have any symptoms until the disease has progressed and it’s far too late for treatment. So, look after your liver with these top tips:
Focus on a balanced diet
Stay hydrated
Minimise alcohol
Take the correct dosage of medications
Ensure safe hygiene to reduce the risk of hepatitis

Did you know that nine out of ten cases of liver disease could have been prevented? During Love You Liver Month, it’s the ideal time to make some lifestyle changes to protect your hepatic health. Cutting down on alcohol and making changes to what you eat could make a big difference.
