🦴 What happens after NovaBone® is implanted?
Bone regeneration is a process, and NovaBone® is designed to support it from the very beginning.
Following placement, the bioactive material begins releasing sodium, silicon and calcium ions, triggering a sequence of biological responses that support new bone formation.
⏱️ 0–15 minutes: ion release and surface modification begin
📅 0–2 days: recruitment and stimulation of osteoblasts and precursor cells
📅 2–14 days: osteoblast proliferation and differentiation support mineralised matrix formation
📅 14+ days: osteostimulation supports regeneration of bone tissue within the defect.
From initial ion release to osteostimulation, NovaBone® works through a bioactive process designed to support the body's bone regeneration response.
