There were smiles, cheers and plenty of friendly competition as our residents enjoyed a fabulous game of Play Your Cards Right at one of our care homes today.

Activities like these are a wonderful way to keep minds active, encourage conversation and, most importantly, have lots of fun together. It's amazing how a simple game can create so much laughter and bring everyone together. ❤️

🎉🌸 WHAT AN AMAZING RESULT! FOR OUR ABBOTTS COURT SUMMER FAYRE 🌸🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Summer Fayre raised a GRAND TOTAL OF £1,190.16! 🥳❤️

A HUGE thank you to every single person who made a donation, came along to support us, helped out behind the scenes, brought a stall, baked, volunteered, or simply turned up and enjoyed the day with us! 🥰

It truly wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you. The smiles, laughter and wonderful atmosphere made it such a special day for our residents, and we are so incredibly grateful for all the support we received. ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic morning taking part in memory games to keep their minds engaged, followed by some fun ball games that had everyone smiling, moving and cheering each other on.

Activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage conversation, build confidence and support both physical and mental wellbeing – all while having plenty of fun together! 😊

What a fantastic afternoon we had as the wonderful James Jordan entertained our residents and their families with a brilliant live performance!
There was plenty of singing along, clapping, dancing, and smiling as everyone enjoyed a great selection of music together. Moments like these bring people together, create lasting memories, and fill our home with joy.

Yesterday at Abbotts Court, I spent some time with our wonderful residents, asking them one simple question:💜

“If I could do it again…”

Their answers were honest, heartfelt, and full of wisdom. 💙 Some will make you smile, others may bring a tear to your eye, but every single response comes from a lifetime of love, laughter, lessons, and memories.🏡

Thank you to each resident who shared a piece of their story with me. We hope this video reminds us all to cherish the little moments and make memories with those we love💜

🎾🏆 Game, set... match!

It was a very sporty day at Beechcroft as our residents enjoyed a fun-filled day of games, laughter and a little friendly competition! 💙

We kicked things off with a classic ball game, testing our coordination by throwing and catching the ball in cones, before launching our very own Wimbledon Tournament! 🎾

Using balloons instead of tennis balls didn't stop the competitive spirit – our residents had a fantastic time volleying them back and forth, cheering each other on and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Safe to say, we've got some serious champions in the making! 🌟

Staying active, having fun and making memories together is what it's all about.

Our residents have been busy over the last couple of days working on a paint-by-numbers masterpiece. It may be a slow and steady process, but that's all part of the fun! 🖌️
