🌞 A Busy & Rewarding Day at Landona House! 💜

Yesterday was packed full of activities, smiles and meaningful moments for our residents.

Before the day warmed up, we enjoyed a lovely morning walk in the fresh air, making the most of the sunshine. ☀️
Back at the home, there was something for everyone to enjoy:
🧩 Creating colourful mosaics
🧩 Completing jigsaws
🧸 Sorting dolls' clothes
🔤 A friendly game of Scrabble
🎨 Colouring and crafts
🧶 Knitting together
💙 Room visits and reading to residents who preferred to stay in their rooms

❓ Finishing the day with a fun general knowledge quiz
From keeping minds active to encouraging creativity, conversation and companionship, every activity is designed to bring enjoyment and support wellbeing.

What a fantastic day we had celebrating our Stapleton House Summer Festival! 🌞
There was something for everyone to enjoy, with delicious food fresh from the BBQ 🍔, refreshing ice creams 🍦, great music 🎶 and plenty of laughter shared with residents, families, friends and staff.

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together, create lasting memories and enjoy the amazing community spirit that makes Stapleton House so special. 💜

There were smiles, cheers and plenty of friendly competition as our residents enjoyed a fabulous game of Play Your Cards Right at one of our care homes today.

Activities like these are a wonderful way to keep minds active, encourage conversation and, most importantly, have lots of fun together. It's amazing how a simple game can create so much laughter and bring everyone together. ❤️

🎉🌸 WHAT AN AMAZING RESULT! FOR OUR ABBOTTS COURT SUMMER FAYRE 🌸🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Summer Fayre raised a GRAND TOTAL OF £1,190.16! 🥳❤️

A HUGE thank you to every single person who made a donation, came along to support us, helped out behind the scenes, brought a stall, baked, volunteered, or simply turned up and enjoyed the day with us! 🥰

It truly wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you. The smiles, laughter and wonderful atmosphere made it such a special day for our residents, and we are so incredibly grateful for all the support we received. ❤️

Our residents and staff are SO GRATEFUL! 🥹💗
