The quietness. The aliveness. The moment.

Yoga brings us to the same place, where we become formless within the form.

And when the mind gets loud, I remember this.

Not the ocean.

Not the memory.

But the feeling of being fully alive.

Because that is always here, waiting beneath the noise.

Devesh baba in the Cotswolds, finishing the year in nature, exactly where we intend to begin the next one.

What a quintessential place to be.

So special to spend this time with Sue, especially after such a long gap since we were last together. Devesh remembered her like it was yesterday. Sue worked alongside me in Goa and somehow still found space to support me with Devesh. And here she is again, years later, doing exactly the same.

A new year, and the same us. Just with a little more clarity about our intentions going forward.

This year came to a close with many challenges. Some life-given, some created and definitely exaggerated by me. So I’m taking a question recently offered to me:

“What would I do if I wanted to make 85-year-old me as miserable and regretful as possible?”

Those answers are my work.
There are plenty… but for mental safety, I’ll stick to three.

And in the middle of it all, Devesh has hit milestones we never could have predicted.
New words.
New motor skills.
New problem-solving.
New connections.

That’s the part I’m carrying forward 🤍- how about you?

Time… it’s like holding water in our hands.

Our 8th Christmas together. If only this time could last forever.

My boy has been a joy 🤍

It’s also really good not to have an alarm, and be without obligation for a few days.
