I've been there, we've all been there. Being a self employed therapist our Why is often because we love our work and I am passionate about how acupuncture can help people. But we also need to keep a roof over our heads, food on the table, pay the bills and hopefully have some ££s left to have fun and holidays. So what do you do when the diary is looking a bit empty.
This is often a question to bring to Supervision where you can explore what you need from your business and how you can make it a fruitful and rewarding choice of occupation. We might look at what numbers you need, your marketing, are you networking, building relationships with other professionals, GPs, your existing clients.
Then there is the self care. Can you build in a holiday, can you use the quiet time to get on top of paperwork, CPD opportunities. Underlying these maybe you can start building a financial buffer so that you can enjoy appreciate the quiet time without worrying about paying the bills.
There are so many ways at looking at how you can use your diary to make life better for yourself.
I'm here to help, I've been there and can reassure you that it is all a normal part of being a self employed practitioner.
