Angel Spotlight 🩵
On Saturday, one of our amazing caregivers, Kacey, completed a 10‑mile walk for MND – and what an achievement it was!
Kacey finished the walk in 3 hours and 16 minutes, pushing through very sore legs and feet, all in support of an incredibly important cause.
She has already raised an incredible £1,119, which is absolutely amazing 🩵
Her JustGiving page will remain open for another week for anyone who would still like to donate.
We are so proud to have Angels like Kacey in our team. Thank you for your dedication, kindness, and determination 🩵

A great day of networking and getting to know the fantastic organisations supporting our local community.
Our Operations Manager, Rachel, and Recruiter, Hele-Kai, attended the See, Hear, Remember Information Exhibition at Theatre Severn today, organised by Community Resource.
It was wonderful to meet so many local organisations, learn more about the services available across Shropshire, and have meaningful conversations with people who are passionate about supporting their communities.
Events like these are a fantastic opportunity to build connections, share knowledge, and gain a better understanding of the support available to local people and their families.
Thank you to Community Resource and everyone we met today – we came away with plenty of new contacts, ideas and inspiration! 😊

A message that means so much to our team.

We recently received this beautiful card from the daughter of a former client who sadly passed away.

While we are privileged to support many wonderful people, it is messages like these that remind us why our carers do what they do. The kindness, patience, compassion and companionship they provide each day can make a real difference, not only to the people they care for but also to their families.

We wanted to share this card as a heartfelt thank you to all of our carers. Your dedication never goes unnoticed, and the impact you have on people's lives is far greater than you may realise.

Thank you for everything you do. 🩵

Who said recruiters hibernate when it rains? ☔😂
Today's mobile office has popped up in Whitchurch with a laptop, a large coffee, and a determination to stay dry!
We're out and about meeting local people and businesses, catching up with familiar faces and making new connections along the way.
If you're in town and fancy a chat about working with us, come and say hello. Otherwise, our inbox is always open.
And if you spot someone sheltering from the rain with a coffee and a laptop, you've probably found our recruiter! ☕🌧️

Please share - it’s carers week and we need to raise awareness to support people. The more shares the more awareness raised - thank you! Churchmere Medical Group

Carers Week will take place from 8–14 June 2026, and this year’s theme is Building Carer Friendly Communities💙

Across the UK, thousands of individuals and organisations will come together to help ensure unpaid carers are better understood, recognised and supported in everyday life 🙌

From schools and universities to workplaces, health and social care services, businesses and community groups, we all have a role to play in making our communities more carer friendly 🌍

Even small changes can make a big difference to carers’ daily lives and future opportunities 💫

Let’s work together to create real, lasting change and support those who care for others every day 💙

Who cares for the family carer?

This Carers Week, we're shining a light on the people who spend so much of their time looking after others.

Family carers often put their own needs, wellbeing, and plans on hold to support a loved one. But everyone needs a chance to rest, recharge, and take time for themselves.

Whether it's a few hours to catch up with friends, attend an appointment, enjoy a hobby, or simply have a well-earned break, having the right support in place can make all the difference.

Because caring for yourself isn't a luxury. It's essential.

This Carers Week, let's make sure family carers get the care and support they deserve too.
