Thursday was a lovely day for a little garden centre adventure, as our residents headed out to visit two of our favourites 💜

We started the morning at Ruxley Manor Garden Centre , taking our time looking around the aquariums and enjoying the beautiful flowers and gardens. After a little café stop, we headed on to Polhill Garden Centre for more wandering, browsing and enjoying everything the garden centre had to offer 🌺🐠

It was a lovely day out with plenty to see, lots of chats along the way, and some good company to enjoy it all with 😊

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

The sunshine has certainly been putting smiles on faces at Baugh House Care Centre 🌞

Our wonderful residents have been making the most of the lovely weather, spending time out in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and soaking up a little sunshine. Sometimes it's the simplest moments that bring the biggest smiles, and we've loved seeing everyone making the most of these beautiful summer days 💜

Last Thursday at Baugh House Care Centre we enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation , and it was every bit as wonderful as we remembered 🦅☀️💜

With the sun shining, the animals were out enjoying the beautiful weather too, making it the perfect day to explore. The team at Eagle Heights gave us such a warm welcome, and we couldn't resist stopping for one of their delicious cream teas before heading home.

It was a fantastic day out, full of lovely memories, good company and plenty to see💜

We enjoyed a lovely day out last week with a trip to Ruxley Manor Garden Centre 💜

Our residents took their time wandering through the colourful flowers, stopping here and there to take it all in before heading inside to explore the gift shop and aquarium. There was plenty to see, and even more to chat about along the way 😊

With the sunshine joining us too, it made the whole day feel that little bit extra special. A simple outing, but one that everyone really enjoyed 🌼

June brought plenty of reasons to celebrate across our homes, with lots of special moments shared together along the way 💜

We marked Care Home Open Week by welcoming visitors into our homes, celebrated Pride Month with colourful activities and conversations, and enjoyed making Father's Day a memorable one for the wonderful father figures in our community 🌈

There was also time for some light hearted fun as we tucked into National Fish and Chips Day, got creative for National Cheese Day, and found lots of other reasons to smile throughout the month 🧀🐟

We’ve just shared a beautiful story from Baugh House Care Centre that truly meant so much to everyone involved. 💜

Our lovely resident Iris was surprised with a very special celebration after sadly missing her granddaughter Katie’s wedding last year due to a stay in hospital. With the help of her family and our team, the home was transformed into a joyful surprise gathering, and the day was kept completely secret right up until the moment it began.

When Iris was reunited with Katie, her husband Danny, and even their much-loved dog Bullseye, there were plenty of happy tears and the most special moments shared over tea and cake with stories from the wedding day. It was a reminder of just how powerful these moments can be when families and care teams come together. 💍✨

Curiouser and curiouser... what a fantastic day we had at Baugh House Care Centre for our Alice in Wonderland themed Mad Hatter's Tea Party 🎩☕💜

Our wonderful residents fully embraced the fun, proudly wearing the wonderfully quirky hats they had made earlier in the week, while our team dressed for the occasion and helped bring the magic to life. We were also treated to a fantastic performance from Mindi, whose singing had everyone joining in and enjoying the party atmosphere 🎶😊

Of course, no tea party would be complete without tea and cake, and there were plenty of laughs when our Home Manager, Alejandro, became part of the entertainment during a game of "Off With His Hat!" The sight of residents aiming soft balls his way certainly had everyone giggling.

It was a truly memorable day filled with fun, music and laughter, and we would like to thank everyone who helped make it so special 💜
