The sunshine is back and we have made the most of it 🌞
We enjoyed a couple of games of scrabble in the garden together, stopping play for a lovely cup of tea and homemade cake 🍰☕️

Sridevi has brought a new game in for us all to try, anyone remember this game, 'Triple Up'?.
We have had lots of laughs trying to get our 3 colours in a row.

A busy day here at Fourways ❤️
Mr E enjoyed a walk to the seafront with Lily stopping on the esplanade for a coffee and cake ☕️🍰
Mrs P enjoyed a lovely drive with Tony to Colyton where they stopped at the tea rooms and enjoyed a cup of tea with a view 🏞☕️
Then later we all enjoyed singing along with Patrick Jervis - Entertainer 🎤

What an incredible turnout for our garden party last Friday, 21st August! ☀️🏡 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon filled with fun, endless laughter, and fantastic live music 🎶✨We are absolutely thrilled to announce that, as of today, we have raised a grand total of £726.00! 🥳 This money will be split between our three chosen charities, doing vital work both locally and nationally:🌊 Sidmouth Lifeboat🏡 Sidmouth Voluntary Services at Twyford House🤝 Crisis UK.
We couldn't have done it without your incredible generosity. Thank you for making the day so special and for supporting such worthy causes! ❤️
And a special shoutout goes to Linda, our wonderful Care Manager, for organising yet another flawless event! We also want to extend a massive thank you to all of our staff members who went above and beyond to support and help out. Your dedication makes all the difference! Together, we are making a real impact.

Just 2 days to go until our annual summer garden party at Fourways Residential Home
Friday 21st August ~ 14:00 - 16:30

The bunting is going up, the kitchen is busy with the baking of homemade cakes, the raffle prizes are coming in. The bar is being stocked up.
Please come along and support our fundraiser for three worthy charities. Two local charities ~ Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat ~ Twyford House and one national charity ~ Crisis
Each charity has been chosen by our residents to be supported this year.
Help us reach our target of £600 enabling us to offer each charity much needed funds to continue the amazing work they do.

Chocolate ice cream was requested this morning and we weren't going to let a bit of rain stop us.
Lily and Mr E dusted off their coats to enjoy a lovely walk down to the seafront where they enjoyed an ice cream together. 🍦🍦

Wow, that was exciting 🌖
A wonderful evening with residents and staff coming together to watch the eclipse 🌒
Almost all of us old enough to remember 1999 - we enjoyed sharing stories of where we were and how old we were at the total eclipse 🌚
We raised a glass of sherry and had a lovely time together. 🥃

What a wonderful day we have had at Fourways today 🛍🍦🌚
