I got a very exciting email today!!!
Story time 😂 I have wanted to be a physio since I was 16, after some unfortunate A level years, I missed the entry requirements for undergraduate physio and opted for BSc sports therapy instead as another way in.
I applied for MSc physiotherapy last year. I applied to a few places, but my first choice was Cardiff after falling in love with it when I was looking at undergraduate options. I was accepted elsewhere, but not Cardiff, and I didn't think I'd mind, until I really minded!
I chose to defer my other place, and risk a year building on their feedback to reapply. I've worked hard on everything they said, branched into new avenues, and learned loads. I was so nervous when I resubmitted my application, but buzzed when I was invited for an interview. And even more elated today when I received an offer of a place!!!!
I can't believe all the hard work has paid off and the risk was worth it, and my dream of studying here is finally going to come true 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much everyone who has helped me get here, you're all amazing!

Merry Christmas one and all! No boxing day is complete without a jump in the sea 😂
I'm currently full of chocolate and cheese, and reflecting on 2022. I can't believe how much I've achieved in the last 12 months, personally and professionally. There have been ups and downs, but I'm finishing with full diaries in every job role I hold, thank you messages coming out of my ears, and a very exciting 2023 ahead!
Huge appreciation to all my patients, players, colleagues and clients, and thank you to everyone who has supported my career this far, let's hit 2023 running 💪🎉

That's a wrap, a loss in our semi final finishes my second season with , and what a season!
My first lead medical position, and managing two teams. Its been a learning curve with plenty of challenges but I've absolutely loved it. Big thank you to All Golds and The Golden Ferns for being an amazing bunch to work with, always polite, respectful, cooperative and mostly great fun! Never once was I made to doubt my position and we're completing the season with fit, healthy players which is the most important thing!
Another big thanks to my fellow staff, firstly for trusting me to take on the role, but also for respecting it and for always ensuring All Golds is a professional and positive environment to be working in.
Lastly huge thank you to my second in command, can't believe my luck having such a skilled practitioner and great individual to help me out. This season wouldn't have been possible without you being so reliable so thank you!
Yesterday was a great game to be working, a minute's silence and black kit showed great respect for recent events, and fuelled some strong play. Well done to all involved, we go again stronger next year 💪🏉

I'm not even sure where to begin with yesterday. 2 matches, 2 teams, 2 fantastic games!
All Golds Men had a brilliant run against Torfaen Tigers to win 48-16. Followed by an incredible final performance of the season for the Golden Ferns against The Army to just lose out 26-22.
I can proudly say I've been at nearly every Ferns game since their very first run. Yesterday was their best performance yet and it was a credit to their own hard work and enjoyment.
All was made doubly special by having my lovely Dad at the sideline to watch me working a game for the first time ever ❤
Big shout out to my second in command , team work makes the dream work and I'm very lucky to have someone so skilled and so reliable to help ensure our double header went without a hitch. And always shout out to all the coaches and staff behind the scenes for making such an awesome place to work and play.
So naturally the day was wrapped up with some s**t shirts and drinks 👌
Men's team go again next weekend so let's hope for another great day.

I think it's about time I announced my newest venture, one I'm unbelievably excited about!
I'm so happy to now be practising as a private sports therapist and rehab specialist at Swindon. It's such a fantastic opportunity to really put together all my previous chapters of experience and start using everything I've learned to start helping the wider population.
I'm also very lucky to be part of a hugely skilled multidisciplinary team with the opportunity to shadow, observe and discuss ideas between our respective disciplines. Such an exciting opportunity that I'm already absolutely loving.
Anyone after private consultation or investigation can now see me directly by booking through Kube 😁➡️

Super exciting announcement!!!
As Bristol All Golds men and women go semi pro this season a few changes have been made, our previous medical lead has had to take a step back due to other commitments, meaning that I am now stepping forward as new head of medical!!
A role like this at a semi professional club is a dream come true and I'm honoured and excited to be taking it on, we had our first pre season training session last night with a brilliant turnout and fantastic atmosphere, so bring on the season 🎉🏉
