We only have one GP in the building today meaning our appointments are very limited. Please can we ask that you only contact the surgery with URGENT conditions only. The pharmacy can treat a number of ailments and 111 is also available to give medical advice.

Lung Cancer Screening Team

The Lung Cancer Screening Team provides the opportunity for people between the ages of 55 – 74 + 364days who have ever smoked, to have a lung health assessment. 76.7% of lung cancer is now diagnosed at stage 1 or 2 due to the LCS programme.

The aim of the programme is to find lung cancer at a very early stage with the aim to improve outcomes of those diagnosed with lung cancer. The Lung Cancer Screening team will be contacting patients from GP practices who are within the eligible criteria to take part in the programme. If you are invited by the team, please take up their offer, if could save your life.
