We loved celebrating a very special milestone at Springbank Care Home! One of our wonderful residents had a unique request for her birthday—a fuss-free birthday cake that she could share with everyone in the afternoon. She told us that enjoying it together would make her birthday dreams come true, and it was an absolute joy to bring the home together for her special day. 🥰🎂

The weekend fun continued on Saturday morning with a brilliant live entertainment session with Emma James, which got everyone singing along. 🎤✨ On Sunday afternoon, we made the most of the gorgeous sunshine by relaxing outside with refreshing ice creams and lollies while listening to some classic tunes from the 60s. 🍦☀️

Cruising into the new week, we spent the morning doing personalised room visits followed by a lovely, productive gardening session to spruce up our outdoor spaces. 🌳🌷 To round off a wonderful few days, yesterday we gathered together for our peaceful and comforting regular church service. 🙏✨

We had the most wonderful day out in the sunshine yesterday at Springbank Care Home! ☀️

We spent a beautiful morning at the Riverside Cafe in Ilkley, where residents loved watching the ducks glide past while relaxing in the sun and enjoying some delicious ice cream 🍦🦆

In the afternoon, we headed out for one of our absolute favourite trips to Moss & Moor! Some of our lovely ladies enjoyed a spot of shopping and browsing the displays, before we all sat down together for a wonderful chat over some refreshing cold drinks. It was the perfect way to spend a sunny day! 🥤🌸

What a beautifully busy and sunny week we’ve had here at Springbank Care Home! ☀️ We kicked things off with a lively quiz and some competitive rounds of card bingo, before taking our lovely ladies out for a morning trip to Robertshaws and an afternoon exploring Cliffe Castle. ☕️🏰

The fun continued with the wonderful Lianne King singing for us, a special visit from baby Joe, and a brilliant birthday celebration for B with some delicious Fat Rascals! 🎂👶 When the British weather turned a bit windy, we just brought the sunshine inside with more music, quizzes, and lovely room chats to help residents get to know each other. 🎶

Yesterday, everyone traded home baking for ice lollies and Cornettos to stay cool and hydrated in the lounge with Molly. 🍦 We topped off the glorious Bank Holiday with a quintessential picnic buffet, featuring homemade sausage rolls and a classic treacle tart, before starting today with musical moments with Marion! 🧺🥧
