It was our absolute pleasure to welcome Raph to the home! Thank you once again for joining us and for all your support.
Welcoming the local community into our home for events like these is so important—it helps our residents stay involved and connected. Through events like these as well as our Airedale Seniors Collective project, we love building these bridges so our residents can stay connected and get out and about in the community.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our next event!
😎 Yesterday, Raph was made to feel very welcome at Springbank Care Home’s summer fete. Despite weeks of drought, the rain had come to try to dampen spirits - but all were having a good time. The staff had gone all out. A wonderful traditional afternoon tea was laid on, and the theme was very much the 1950s - done absolutely superbly, with classic bunting, adverts, and dresses. Oh, and outstanding singers! Raph felt more in a country hotel than a care home.
🐶 Holly was much welcomed by the residents - she enjoyed the attention (and the dropped coronation chicken vol-au-vents - not sure all were 'accidents’!). She was told she'll be welcome back anytime!
Springbank are part of our community, so if you're organising an event or doing something local, pop over or invite them along. They want to get their residents involved as much as possible!
