th and Community Development and qualifications in Counselling and Facilitation work alongside various CPD training. As a complimentary therapist I endeavour to work with you holistically, treating the whole person and supporting you to reach your physical and wellbeing goals. I have come to complementary therapies as a second career so that I can work more flexibly around family life. However, the gift of giving is not new to me, and I have worked within many areas in society in supporting and empowering roles, counselling, and therapeutic work. I have for many years worked with vulnerable adults and children in schools, youth centres, residential settings, and homeless shelters. Working in crisis situations, or fight or flight mode on a continuous basis leaves its mark eventually and I began to realise the impact of chronic stress on the mind and body. I was stressed, my co workers were stressed and those we were supporting were no doubt extremely stressed given their circumstances. I began to work more therapeutically with myself and with others. You can’t pour from an empty cup; the gift of giving must start with oneself! I have always enjoyed therapeutic work, yoga, mediating and holistic therapies, but it wasn’t enough! I wanted to make it a part of my everyday life and I wish to encourage others to do the same. What can I do for you as your holistic therapist? Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology can provide relief from chronic health conditions, stress and mental health concerns, fertility issues and physical discomfort. Massage can have powerful detoxifying benefits and can improve circulation and the appearance of skin. As your complementary therapists I will offer you a comprehensive consultation with advice and understanding. We will explore your holistic wellness in a safe space with evidence-based practice and intuitive understanding and compassion. Every treatment is tailored to you with the upmost care and attention to nourishing your mind body and soul!
