We had a really lovely TTC Wednesday session this week - picnic in the park, along with a solar eclipse yoga session run by our very own Jewel! 🌙🧘‍♀️

Sometimes it’s just about appreciating the small things in life. Whether that’s watching the solar eclipse with your pals, having a little kickabout or a chat over a picnic. This is what TTC is truly all about. 🩵

Thank you Jewel for running the yoga session, and we can’t wait to bring some more skill shares to our TTC Wednesdays!

During The Connor Mackay Cup 2026, our very own TTC member Cameron along with Kevin Ralph did some interviews throughout the afternoon and asked players, volunteers, supporters and members of the Take The Conn community a few simple questions.

The answers reminded us exactly why this community exists.

Take The Conn is a community led CIC based in Swale, bringing people together through weekly meet-ups to help tackle loneliness and improve mental wellbeing - by connecting with one another and trying to find ways to take control of our lives.

The Connor Mackay Cup began simply as a way of remembering Connor Mackay, who sadly lost his life to su***de in 2019. Seven years on, it has grown into something much bigger than a football tournament - a celebration of a community that we hope could’ve served Connor, but supporting so many more people and ensuring no one walks alone.

A MASSIVE thank you to the brave people within our community who took part in these interviews and were so open.
And of course, Cam and Kev for shooting and editing these videos for us. It’s so appreciated, and exactly reminds us of why this community exists.
