☀️ Why I don’t recommend dermal fillers in a heatwave…
With the temperatures soaring, I’ve decided not to carry out dermal filler treatments until the weather cools down.
Why?
💉 Heat can increase swelling and bruising after treatment.�💉 It can make the recovery period less comfortable.�💉 You’re also more likely to be spending time in the sun, exercising, or enjoying outdoor activities, all of which aren’t ideal immediately after filler treatment.
Your safety, comfort, and the best possible results will always come first. I’d much rather postpone your appointment by a few days than have you recovering in uncomfortable conditions.
If you’re already booked in, don’t worry—I will be in touch if I feel it’s in your best interests to rearrange.

With 15 years as a dental clinician and 6 years in aesthetics, I combine medical knowledge, facial anatomy expertise, and a passion for helping clients feel confident in their own skin.

After working in aesthetics for 4 years, I chose to further my knowledge and skills by studying for my Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetics. This means when regulations in the aesthetics industry finally come into play, you can feel confident knowing you’re already in safe, qualified hands.
