Menopause can bring a whole list of changes we expect… and quite a few we don’t.
Your digestion can be one of them.
Bloating that seems to appear from nowhere.
Bowels becoming slower or less predictable.
Feeling heavier or more uncomfortable than you used to.
And sometimes just feeling that your body is doing its own thing.
I hear this so often from women in my clinic.
For me, menopause isn’t something that needs “fixing”. It’s a stage of life where sometimes we need to understand our bodies a little differently and find the things that help us feel more comfortable.
For some women, colonic hydrotherapy can form part of that self-care, alongside the basics that matter too — hydration, nutrition, movement, sleep and managing stress.
Sometimes it’s also about giving yourself an hour where you can switch off, talk about what’s going on and focus on you.
If your digestion has changed during perimenopause or menopause and you’re wondering whether colonic hydrotherapy may be suitable for you, talk to me, that’s what I’m here for.
