A brief update on my cancellation policy 📅

I am fully aware that plans can occasionally alter and that life can be unpredictable. However, missed appointments and late cancellations can have a big effect on a small firm.

I'll be implementing a 48-hour cancellation policy going forward. This allows me to offer the time to someone else and helps me handle appointments equitably.

As always, I appreciate your patience and unwavering support. "💛🖤

🦵 Tendinopathy isn’t just a case of “rest until it feels better.”

Unlike muscles, tendons have a relatively poor blood supply, meaning they adapt and heal differently. While rest may temporarily reduce pain, it doesn’t restore the tendon’s ability to tolerate load.

Research consistently shows that progressive, appropriately prescribed loading is the most effective way to improve tendon structure, reduce pain, and restore function. The right amount of mechanical stress stimulates tendon cells to produce collagen, helping the tendon become stronger and build more capacity over time.

🚫 Rest alone can lead to further deconditioning.
✅ The right load, at the right time, drives adaptation.

Every tendon, and every person, is different, so rehabilitation should be tailored to the individual, their goals, and the stage of their recovery.

Movement is medicine… when the dose is right.

10 years 🎉

It’s hard to believe that today marks 10 years in business.

There have been a few name changes along the way, but one thing has never changed—my mission: to help people move better, feel stronger and live healthier.

Running a small business isn’t always easy. There have been incredible highs, difficult lows, moments where I’ve questioned everything, and moments that reminded me exactly why I started. Through it all, the support I’ve received has meant more than I can put into words.

To every client who has trusted me with their recovery, performance or health… thank you.

To everyone who has recommended me, shared a post, liked a photo, told a friend, or simply believed in what I do… thank you.

You’ve helped turn a passion into a decade-long journey, and I genuinely don’t take that for granted.

Whether you’ve been here since day one or only recently joined me, you’ve all played a part in this milestone.

Thank you for being part of the journey 🙏🏼

Did you know that around 90% of low back pain is classified as non-specific?

That doesn’t mean your pain isn’t real. It means that, for most people, there isn’t one single structure (such as a disc, muscle or joint) that can be identified as the source of the pain.

Pain is influenced by many factors, including:
✔️ Movement
✔️ Sleep
✔️ Stress
✔️ Fitness
✔️ Nervous system sensitivity
✔️ Lifestyle

This is why modern research has moved away from the idea that pain always equals lasting damage.

For most people, the best approach is to:
• Keep moving
• Build strength and confidence
• Stay active where possible and hydrated
• Focus on what you can do rather than what you can’t

Education is one of the most powerful tools we have in helping people understand and overcome persistent back pain.

📚 Based on evidence from:
Maher CG, Underwood M, Buchbinder R. Non-specific low back pain. The Lancet. 2017.

Sports massage isn’t just for athletes. It’s for anyone who wants to move better, recover faster, and stay pain-free.

Whether you’re training for an event, spending long hours at a desk, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling tight and stiff, sports massage can help improve mobility, reduce muscle tension, and support your body’s recovery.

Some of the benefits include:
✔️ Reduced muscle tension and stiffness
✔️ Improved flexibility and range of motion
✔️ Faster recovery after exercise
✔️ Injury prevention
✔️ Better circulation
✔️ Reduced stress and improved wellbeing

One of the biggest myths is that sports massage has to be painful. It doesn’t. Every treatment is tailored to your goals, your body, and your comfort level.

⚫️🟡CLIENT SUCCESS POST⚫️🟡

Super proud of my client Jon who a couple of weeks ago completed his first Ironman in Hamburg.

After the success of his partner Rachel last year completing her first Ironman, It inspired Jon to take on the challenge and he did just that. Having never done anything of this magnitude previously, Jon a year ago started his journey to build the strength and endurance he needed to complete the Ironman.

Like anything its been a rollercoaster ride, but one thing is for sure he has instilled Discipline and not just physical strength but the mental strength to complete the 3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42.2km run.

Jon and Rachel are such a huge inspiration to me and Rachel was there in his by his side supporting him from day one.

Its been an absolute pleasure to play a small part in Jons huge success 😊

Congratulations Jon you are an IRONMAN!!!🏅

Had the pleasure of treating the last days. She wanted me to assess her left hamstring. Upon assessment I found her pelvis to be unstable as she was unable to load into the left glute medius efficiently enough.

I loaded her glute as a whole and get her loading the hamstring in a way that wasn’t strong for her, tissues need to be loaded in all ways to become more efficient.
