Bank nurse needed to join our team.
Evelyn Court is a 36-bed care home supporting people living with dementia, and we are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Bank Nurse to join our friendly and committed team.
We are seeking an experienced nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and who understands the importance of supporting people living with dementia with dignity, kindness and respect.
The Role
As a Bank Nurse at Evelyn Court, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents receive safe, effective and compassionate care. You will work alongside our experienced care team to support residents with their individual health and wellbeing needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high standards of nursing care to our residents.
Supporting residents living with dementia in a person-centred way.
Administering medication safely and maintaining accurate records.
Monitoring residents' health and responding appropriately to changes in condition.
Working closely with care staff, families and healthcare professionals.
Supporting care planning and ensuring residents' needs are regularly reviewed.
Promoting dignity, independence and choice in everything you do.
Providing guidance and support to the wider care team when required.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a nurse who is:
Registered with the NMC and has a valid PIN.
Compassionate, patient and approachable.
Confident working with people living with dementia.
Able to work effectively as part of a team while also using their own professional judgement.
Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work bank shifts as required.
Committed to delivering excellent standards of care.
A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with residents, relatives and colleagues.
Previous experience in dementia care or a care home environment would be highly desirable.
