We had a productive afternoon out in the garden today. It was lovely to gather our first batch of home grown lettuce, and we have already sent it over to the kitchen to be prepared for lunch.
Nothing quite beats the taste of something grown right here on site.

Our Margaret really enjoys being out in the garden. She found a quiet spot to sit, spent a good while taking in the fresh air, and just seemed to appreciate having a change of scenery from the lounge.
It was a lovely bit of downtime for her, and itโ€™s always good to see the residents making the most of the garden when the weather holds up.

We have had a wonderful day of celebrations here at Ash Lodge as two of our lovely residents reached very special birthdays!
We were delighted to help Christine celebrate her 80th birthday and Barbara celebrate her incredible 99th birthday.
It was a joy to see them surrounded by love and celebration as they marked these significant milestones.

Rolling into Spring: Our Garden Makeover
The garden at Ash Lodge is looking brighter than ever thanks to a fantastic team effort this week!
We have been busy repurposing and painting old tyres to create vibrant new planters for our outdoor space. It was a true "all hands on deck" occasion, with residents and staff rolling up their sleeves to add a splash of colour to the grounds.
From choosing the brightest shades to getting the positioning just right, everyoneโ€™s contribution has helped transform the garden into an even more welcoming place to sit and enjoy the fresh air.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involvedโ€”our garden has never looked better!
