Asteria is the Greek goddess of the stars and the night sky. 🌙✨

Her name is associated with starlight, guidance and the beauty of the night.

When we chose the name Asteria, it felt like the perfect fit for what we wanted our salon to represent.

A place to step away from the noise.
A place to slow down.
A place to look after yourself.
And a place where everyone can feel welcome, comfortable and able to shine in their own way. ✨

Whether you visit us for hair, barbering, beauty or holistic therapies, Asteria has always been about more than simply providing a service. We wanted to create a calm, welcoming space where you can take a little time for you.

✨ Meet Emilie, our new apprentice! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Emilie to the Asteria & Khaos team! 🌿

Emilie has joined us to begin her hairdressing apprenticeship and has already been getting stuck into her training, learning everything from colour theory and consultations to cutting, styling and salon life.

Over the coming months, you’ll start to see Emilie working alongside the team, building her skills, confidence and experience, and we can’t wait to watch her progress. 🤍

Please give her a big welcome when you see her in the salon!

And keep your eyes peeled… 👀 As Emilie progresses through her training, we’ll be looking for models for lots of different services.

✂️ Short Hair Cutting Education ✂️

Today we had the pleasure of teaching a hands on short hair cutting course, covering a range of essential skills and techniques.

We explored:

✨ Choosing the right texturising methods
✨ The importance of creating a strong perimeter
✨ Clipper and scissor techniques
✨ Building shape, structure and balance
✨ Personalising each haircut for the individual client
✨ Working with different hair types and growth patterns

A huge thank you to Hazel and the team from .woodbridge for choosing to train with us, and to our brilliant models for making the day possible.

and you were an absolute dream to teach, your thirst for knowledge is brilliant 👏

We offer professional hairdressing courses for qualified stylists and apprentices, with training tailored to the needs of you or your salon team.

✨ Exciting News for Aimee! ✨

We are so proud to share that Aimee has now completed all of her Level 2 Hairdressing training and is currently awaiting her End Point Assessment (EPA) exam date. 🎉

This is a huge milestone in her journey, and we're excited to announce that she is now welcoming clients for:

✨ Full Head Colours from £37

Every appointment is carried out using our premium products and under the guidance of our experienced team, giving you beautiful results at apprentice prices.

Booking with Aimee is a wonderful way to support her as she takes this exciting final step towards becoming a fully qualified stylist.

Over the past few months, Aimee has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes, expanding her skills and learning some exciting new treatments.
