Today we honour the strength, courage, and resilience of every person whose life has been touched by cancer.

Behind every survivor is a journey that has undoubtedly included fear, uncertainty, pain, hope, and incredible determination.

Survivorship looks different for everyone. For some, it means celebrating remission. For others, it means continuing treatment while still choosing to live fully and bravely each day. There is no “right” way to heal, cope, or move forward.

Today is also a reminder of the importance of compassion, support, and connection for those navigating life during and after cancer.

To every survivor, every family member, every friend, and every person remembering loved ones today, we see your strength and we honour your journey. 💙💚

Sometimes narcissistic abuse can be difficult to recognise because it often happens quietly, gradually, and emotionally rather than physically. It can leave someone questioning their own thoughts, feelings, and whole reality while slowly losing confidence in themselves over time.

Today is a day to gently raise awareness of some common signs of narcissistic abuse, so those experiencing it know they are not alone and that support is available.

💙 Common signs of narcissistic abuse can include:

• Constant criticism or feeling like nothing you do is ever good enough
• Being made to doubt your own memory or reality (gaslighting)
• Feeling emotionally drained, anxious, or walking on eggshells
• Manipulation, guilt-tripping, or blame shifting
• Love bombing followed by emotional withdrawal
• Feeling isolated from friends, family, or support systems
• Your boundaries repeatedly being ignored or dismissed
• Losing confidence in yourself and second-guessing your feelings

Narcissistic abuse can affect self-esteem, mental wellbeing, trust, and emotional safety long after the relationship or situation ends. Healing takes time, compassion, and support.

You deserve relationships where you feel heard, respected, safe, and valued. 💚

If you are feeling called to dig a little deeper on your healing journey, then please reach out for a free consultation.

“It’s not ‘just stress’… and it’s not just you.”

Anxiety doesn’t always look the way people expect it to.
It’s not always panic attacks or visible distress.

Sometimes it’s quiet, internal and easy to miss from the outside.

It can look like overthinking a simple message, replaying conversations long after they’ve ended, or feeling a constant sense of unease that you can’t quite explain.

You might seem calm to everyone else, while inside your mind feels busy, loud, and exhausting.
And that can feel incredibly isolating.

💙 If this resonates with you, please know that your experience is valid. You’re not overreacting, and you’re not alone in feeling this way.

With the right support, it is possible to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and begin to find a sense of calm again, at your own pace.💚

Autism Acceptance Week is a time to move beyond simple awareness and towards understanding, respect, and acceptance. 🌈

Autistic people don’t need to be fixed or changed, they need to be valued, supported, and understood for who they are. Autism is a natural part of human diversity, and every autistic person experiences the world in their own unique way. ✨

For many autistic individuals, the greatest challenges don’t come from being autistic, but from living in a world that isn’t always designed with them in mind… sensory overload, social expectations, misunderstandings, and pressure to “fit in” can be exhausting, especially when their needs aren’t recognised or taken seriously.

Acceptance means listening, believing people when they share their experiences, and making space for difference without judgement.

Acceptance also matters for mental wellbeing. When autistic people feel seen and supported rather than masked or misunderstood, it can reduce anxiety, burnout, and feelings of isolation. Whether it’s in childhood, adolescence or adulthood, being accepted as you are can make a profound difference to your confidence, self-worth, and emotional safety. 💙💚

Today we’re celebrating all mums, in all the different ways motherhood shows up. 💐

The mums who nurture, support, protect, guide, and love, often while carrying far more than anyone sees.

The mums who are doing their best on very little sleep, the mums who worry quietly, the mums who hold everything together, and the mums who are learning as they go.

We also recognise that Mother’s Day can bring mixed feelings for many. However today looks for you, we hope it offers a moment of kindness, appreciation, and care.

Motherhood isn’t one-size-fits-all, and every journey is unique and deserving of respect.

Wishing a gentle, supportive Mother’s Day to all mums today 💚💙

Quitting smoking, or any addiction, is rarely just about willpower. 🚭

For many people, smoking has been a way of coping. It creates a pause in the day, a way to manage stress, anxiety, boredom, or difficult emotions. When you try to stop, it’s not just the habit you’re letting go of, but the comfort, routine, or sense of control it once offered, and that can feel unsettling as well as challenging.

💙 If you’re trying to quit, it can help to approach the process with curiosity and kindness rather than pressure.

Talking things through can reduce shame and help you understand what smoking has been doing for you emotionally. Counselling offers a safe, non-judgemental space to explore triggers, patterns, and the deeper reasons behind an addiction, while gently building healthier ways of coping that feel realistic and sustainable. It isn’t about being told what to do, but about understanding yourself more fully and creating change at your own pace.

💚 Whether you’re thinking about stopping, taking your first steps, or beginning again after a setback, support is out there for you. Every attempt matters, and every step forward, no matter how small, counts.

There’s something quietly powerful about reading. In a world that moves fast and asks a lot of us, opening a book can feel like permission to slow down, breathe, and step into a different pace for a while. 📚

Whether it’s getting lost in a novel, escaping into another life or place, or dipping into a book that helps you understand yourself a little more, reading offers space that many of us don’t get enough of.

✨ Fiction allows us to wander, imagine, and feel without pressure. It can help us switch off from stress, connect with emotions we didn’t realise needed attention, and sometimes even feel less alone through characters who reflect parts of our own inner world.

🧠 Self-development and therapeutic books, on the other hand, can gently open doors to insight, helping us make sense of patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences at our own pace, in our own time.

Reading supports mental wellbeing in simple but meaningful ways. It can calm the nervous system, improve focus, build empathy, and offer language for feelings that are hard to name. For some people, a book can be the first step towards understanding themselves better, or towards recognising that support, growth, and change are possible. 💙💚
