You shouldn't have to plan your day around how many steps you have to climb.

Most people think stairs are the enemy. They start using the rail, then they start going up one at a time, then they stop going upstairs altogether.

This is the "Decline Spiral." Every time you avoid a stair, your legs get weaker. Every time they get weaker, the next stair feels harder.
