🌈 Pride Is Every Day 🌈

At our core, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, affirming space to be fully and unapologetically themselves.

Pride is deeply important to us—not only because we support the LGBTQI+ community, but because we are an active part of it. Our work is built on lived experience, understanding, acceptance, and a commitment to creating inclusive spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered.

In a world that can often feel challenging and uncertain, celebrating Pride is more important than ever. It is a time to honour individuality, embrace diversity, and stand together as a community. Pride reminds us that authenticity, visibility, and belonging matter every day of the year.

We’re excited to celebrate with our community throughout Pride season:

2-Day Face to Face CPD: Working with Neurodivergence: An Appreciation for Difference

We’re running our next 2-day CPD for counsellors and therapists focused on deepening confidence and competence in working with neurodivergent clients — and we still have a few spaces left on the upcoming 16th & 30th dates.

This training is for practitioners who want to:
Move beyond labels and into meaningful understanding
Work more confidently with clients presentations.
Understand sensory processing, shutdown, masking and burnout
Adapt therapeutic approaches in neuro-affirming ways
Reduce shame and miss-attunement in the therapy room
Feel less “wrong-footed” and more grounded in complexity

This is not a diagnostic training.
It’s a reflective, relational, practice-based CPD.
We’ll explore:
The lived experience of neurodivergence
Attachment, trauma and neurodivergence intersections
Anxiety, panic and nervous system overwhelm
Communication differences and therapeutic pacing
Ethical considerations and adaptations

The days are experiential, discussion-rich and rooted in real clinical material — designed to increase both understanding and felt confidence.

Due to a few unavoidable changes, several participants have moved to our June/July dates — which means a small number of places have reopened for the 16th & 30th cohort.

Feeling incredibly grateful and energised after hosting the first run of our CPD course!
Working with neurodivergence: An appreciation for difference.

It was such a privilege to spend time with a group of thoughtful, engaged professionals — sharing ideas, learning together, reflecting deeply, and creating a space where curiosity and connection could really flourish.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed so openly. The conversations, insights, and shared experiences made the 2 days truly special. I left feeling inspired and reminded again why community learning matters so much.

I’m really excited to be running the course again on the 16th and 30th of May and there are still a few spaces available for anyone who would like to join us.

A brilliant start to our in person CPD course Working with Neurodivergence: An Appreciation for Difference last weekend.

We loved working with such an engaged group of counsellors and creating a space for reflection, learning, and discussion.

The second half of the course will run next Saturday.

New dates will be announced soon — we’d love to welcome more of you to join us.

Tomorrow we begin.

After months of planning, preparation, and care, our new course is ready to start. Seeing the space set up and waiting for people to arrive feels both grounding and exciting — a place intentionally created for connection, reflection, and shared learning.

This course offers a supportive and professionally held environment to explore wellbeing, self-awareness, and relationships. It’s designed as a space where people can slow down, feel heard, and engage at their own pace, with an emphasis on curiosity, and genuine human connection.

We’re grateful for everyone who has supported the journey to this point and are really looking forward to welcoming our first group tomorrow. If you’ve been wondering whether something like this might be right for you, there will be future opportunities to join us as the course continues to grow.

For now, we begin — present, hopeful, and thankful for the chance to do this work together.
