🔵 Help shape the future of prostate cancer care

If you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, your experience could help improve diagnosis, treatment and care for men now and in the future.

Prostate Progress is a national research programme bringing together people’s experiences and healthcare information. Participants complete a short online survey every few months and can agree to securely link information from their NHS records. The research could help:

✅ Support earlier and more accurate diagnosis
✅ Identify which treatments work best
✅ Improve the management of side effects
✅ Reduce inequalities in prostate cancer care

Signing up takes just a few minutes and can be completed on a phone, tablet or computer.

HPV vaccine: are you or your child eligible?

The HPV vaccine helps protect against human papillomavirus, a common virus that can cause some cancers, including cervical cancer. Recent evidence has shown just how powerful the vaccine is in preventing cervical cancer and saving lives.

The HPV vaccine is routinely offered to children when they are aged 12 to 13. If you missed getting vaccinated at that age, you may still be able to have it for free on the NHS.

You are eligible for a free NHS HPV vaccine if you are:

✅ a girl aged 24 or under, up until your 25th birthday
✅ a boy born after 1 September 2006, up until your 25th birthday

If you or your child were eligible but missed the vaccine, please contact your GP surgery, who can advise on next steps and help arrange vaccination.

Protecting yourself now can help prevent cancer in the future.
