World Breastfeeding Awareness Week
🌍 World Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2026 🤱
This World Breastfeeding Week, we’re celebrating and supporting all families on their feeding journey.
Breastfeeding can give babies the best start in life and provides health benefits for both baby and parent. Whether you're breastfeeding, combination feeding, expressing, or looking for support and information, help is available.
Every family's journey is different, and every feed matters. 💙
Find trusted NHS advice and practical support here: 👉 https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/baby/feeding-your-baby/breastfeeding/
Let's continue to create communities where parents feel informed, supported and empowered to make the feeding choices that are right for them.

🦠 Protect against MenB this autumn
A one-off, time-limited MenB vaccination programme is now available for eligible young people. The vaccine helps protect against meningococcal group B disease, which can cause serious illnesses such as meningitis and septicaemia. Vaccination is the best protection against becoming seriously unwell.
✅ Who is eligible?
• Young people aged 17 or 18 who were born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008.
• First-year undergraduate students under 25, born on or after 21 July 2001, starting university for the first time in autumn 2026.
• Young people born on or after 21 July 2001 who are starting further education for the first time in autumn 2026 and will be living in residential accommodation.
🏥 Find a participating pharmacy:

ℹ️ Check full eligibility details:

Don't wait. Eligible young people need 2 doses for the best protection before the autumn term begins.
