ALERT THE MEDIA: Eastleigh Care Home has officially lost its chief jokester, fix-it wizard, and staff jump-scare champion! Today was Neil’s last day as our maintenance man, and honestly, we’re not sure how we’re going to survive without him. 🛠️👻
Neil, who is going to fix the doors now? More importantly, who is going to hide behind them to scare the absolute daylights out of us?! We’re going to miss your terrible jokes, your constant banter, and the absolute chaos and warmth you brought to the home every day.
Thank you for keeping Eastleigh running smoothly (and keeping our heart rates dangerously high). You’ve been an absolute legend, and the place just won't be the same without you.

What a brilliant day at Eastleigh! 📸✨
Our residents were out and about today enjoying the best of our local community! From exploring historical treasures at the museum to grabbing freshly baked pasties at the market, it’s been non-stop fun. 🥧🏛️
We topped off the day back home with a lovely floral craft session, filling the room with bright colors and big smiles. 🌸🎨

What a lovely afternoon! ☀️🫖
Our residents had a wonderful time baking fresh scones today, and the best part was definitely the taste test! We made the most of the glorious weather by heading outside to the courtyard to enjoy our delicious treat with fresh jam and refreshing drinks in the sunshine.
Nothing beats good food, great company, and a bit of fresh air! 🍓✨

🍰 Garden Afternoon Tea! ☀️
Our residents made the absolute most of the lovely weather today with a relaxing afternoon in the garden! We enjoyed refreshing drinks, delicious homemade cakes and biscuits, and wonderful company.
It was lovely sitting outside, listening to the gentle trickling of our water features, admiring the blooming flower pots, and enjoying a good catch-up together. Days like these are what summer is all about! 🧁🌺🧃

☀️ Sunny Smiles & Summer Fun at Eastleigh! ☀️
Our residents have been making the absolute most of the lovely weather lately! 🌸✨
From keeping our garden looking fresh and beautiful with a spot of watering, to enjoying a stroll into town to browse the local shops (and trying on a fabulous fancy hat or two! 🎩😁), it’s been a week full of fresh air, laughter, and great company.
There’s nothing quite like a nice afternoon out and about! 💕

🐾 Paws, Smiles, and Lots of Love! 🐾
We had a extra special visitor at Eastleigh Care Home recently—Ralph the Pets As Therapy (PAT) dog! 🐶✨
Ralph brought so much warmth, joy, and comfort as he did his rounds visiting our wonderful residents. Whether it was a gentle stroke, a friendly hello, or just sitting nicely for a photo, Ralph certainly put smiles on everyone’s faces (and stole a few hearts along the way!). 💖
A massive thank you to Ralph for spending time with us. We’re already looking forward to his next visit! 🐾👇

🐾 Furry Friends & Big Smiles! 🐹🐶
We were treated to a very special visit today when Sue stopped by with her wonderful small animals!
Our residents loved getting to stroke the sweet guinea pigs and meet such a gentle, friendly pup. There’s nothing quite like the therapeutic touch of an animal to brighten everyone’s day.

🍻 Another Wonderful Day at Eastleigh Care Home! 🌸🎈
Our residents enjoyed a fantastic variety of activities today!
✨Some of our residents headed out to the local pub, pouring a pint, enjoying a drink, and sharing plenty of laughs together. 🍺😊
🌸Out in the garden, everyone got creative making lovely pressed-flower vase artwork using fresh blooms. 🎨🌺
🎈Indoors, we had a fun game of balloon tennis using foam noodles to keep everyone moving and smiling! 🥳🎾
It was a day full of sunshine, creativity, and great company. 💙
