FLU SEASON 🤧
Flu season is here and our invites for the free flu vaccine have started being sent out to eligible patients.
You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:
are aged 65 or over, have certain long-term conditions, are pregnant, live in a care home, are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive carer's allowance, live with someone with a weakened immune system, are experiencing homelessness.
Most eligible adults will be able to get the flu from 1st October 2026. Pregnant women and children aged 2-3 yrs may have their vaccine from 1st September 2026. To find out more visit https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/flu-vaccine/

Don’t delay completing your kit when it arrives

If you remember Scott and Charlene's Neighbours wedding, the NHS bowel cancer screening kit is especially for you.

If you're aged 50 to 74, the NHS will send you a free bowel cancer screening kit every two years. It only takes a few minutes to complete at home and could help detect bowel cancer before symptoms appear.

When your kit arrives, don't put it on the side and forget about it. Complete it and send it back. It could save your life.
