It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our adored Dad, Kevin, who passed away suddenly after a long illness on 3rd June 2026, aged 88.

Devoted husband of the late Antoinette (Toni), devoted Dad to Jo-Ann and Karen, much-loved father-in-law to Peter and Alan, cherished Granda and Great-Granda to Adam, Abby, Ethan, Brooke, Macie, Jayden, Neve, Lewis and Carter, and much-loved Grandfather-in-law to Michelle.

Friends are welcome to join us for a church service at St Aloysius on Tuesday the 30 June 2026, at 9.45am. Family flowers only, please.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Roseway House Nursing Home, Jarrow, for the wonderful care shown to Kevin and to his daughters, Jo-Ann and Karen.

Kevin will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving family.

Rest peacefully now, Dad. You will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol Mullen who passed away on the 31st of May 2026, aged 79 surrounded by her loved ones.

Much loved wife to Melvyn, beloved Mam to Stephen and Mark, cherished sister to Eileen, Michael and Joe, and an adored grandma to Georgia and Olivia.

Carol will be forever missed by all of her family and friends but memories will last forever.

Funeral service will be held at South Shields Crematorium on Wednesday 24th June 2026 at 9:45am. Family flowers only please and any donations to the stroke association will be greatly appreciated.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Cuskin, treasured wife of Michael, the love of his life, his soulmate, and his dearest friend.

A dearly loved Mam to Jenny and Alice, and a loving Step-Mam and friend to Claire, Fiona and Philip. A fantastic Nana Anna to Lily, Imogen and Ada. A wonderful sister to Brenda and a much-loved Auntie to Sarah and Stephen.

Anna was a devoted Christian whose faith, kindness, generosity and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Anna’s funeral service will be held at St James’ RC Church, Hebburn, on Wednesday 1st July at 11:15am, followed by a family-only committal service at South Shields Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Anna may be made to Macmillan Cancer Support and Dementia UK (Admiral Nurses).

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of George Loch aged 58 years.

Beloved fiance and best friend to Donna, cherished dad to Courtney and Karli, much loved granda to Miah and Layla, beloved brother to Jacqueline, Carol, Tracey, Shaun, Steven and the late Ivan and Marilyn, proud uncle to many.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by everyone who knew him.

Please meet for a funeral service at South Shields Crematorium on Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Help for Heroes, all donations may be received at Crematorium. After the service all are invited to the celebration of George's life at the Red Hackle pub.

Peacefully at home after a short illness on 27th May 2026 aged 81 years. Fred (Fredrick) beloved husband of Maria (nee Mullen) a dear brother of Maureen and the late Billy and families. A much loved step father of Michelle and dearest granda of Gemma, Jonathan and Rebecca, great grandchildren Rhys, Kaitlyn and Jude. Also a dear uncle of Deborah, Toni, Callum, Ralph and Edie.Fred was such a lovely man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved Eve, who passed away on 1st June 2026, aged 83 years.

Beloved wife of the late Les, treasured and loving Mam to Sara and Ryan, and cherished mother-in-law to Norman and Nadia. A proud and devoted Nanna "Evie" to Bailey, Hayden, Cael and Bodhi, and a much-loved step-Nana to Abbey and Jess.

Eve was also a dearly loved aunty, a loyal friend to many, and a dedicated member of the Otterburn Angels.

Eve brought so much love and joy to so many. Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing how deeply she loved and how greatly she was loved in return. We will miss her forever, speak of her often, and hold her always in our hearts.

Eve's funeral service will take place at her beloved St Michael's Church on Monday 29th June 2026 at 1:15pm, followed by committal at South Shields Crematorium at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, will be gratefully received on the day of the service and shared between St Michael's Church, the Diabetic Association, and The Salvation Army.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Liz.
Beloved wife of Kev and cherished mam of Roy, John and Kevin and a proud and loving nana to Sean, Matthew, Ryan, Jake, Charlie and Evie and a great nana to Caragh, Theo and Darcie Krista.

She was the treasured daughter of the late Frank and Violet Dixon and much loved sister of Margaret,Rosemary and the late Roy

The funeral will take place on 23 June 2026
There will be a service for family at 12.30 pm at Talbot Road Methodist Church followed by a service at South Shields Crematorium at 1.15 to allow all her friends and family to reflect on Liz’s life.

A donation box will be available for those who wish to make a donation to Liz’s favourite charities (details on the day)
Liz was the heart of her family and although our hearts are broken by her loss we will always treasure and respect the love she leaves behind.
