August was a good month for our Friends and Family Test Results. We are grateful for the responses, good and bad and read every single one.

A few points to note: -

Our phlebotomy appointments fill up fast and we apologise if you have to return to the surgery for a blood test. This is not something we can fix immediately.

We are happy to see patients are pleased to be seeing GPs face to face.

Sometimes slight delays are beyond the clinicians control. We are sorry if you have been seen a little later than your appointment time. Unfortunately, these things happen from time to time and we apologise. We aim to stay on track, but sometimes things may run over.

If you do not have the ability to fill your response in on the text you receive on your mobile phone and would like to be heard, please ask one of the staff at the front desk for a paper form.

Thank you all again for the responses. Please name the clinician you have had your appointment with or if one of the team have went that extra mile to help you. It really means a lot.

Millions of women in England are to be offered HPV self-testing kits as the new service rolls out from today.

The kits will be offered to those who haven’t attended cervical screening following previous invitations, providing a discreet and convenient way to test for high-risk HPV at home.
