Love this ❤️ from one of my members

Then vs Now… What a Difference! ✨
Today I completed a 7.8-mile hike and cooled off with a refreshing Moretti Zero 🍻. I’m absolutely loving this new energy and feeling better than ever!
The best part? I had my annual review with the diabetes team today and received the most amazing news:
✅ No more diabetes medication ✅ HbA1c now 3.7 – no longer even pre-diabetic ✅ LDL cholesterol reduced from 7.8 to 1.7 – no more statins ✅ Asthma gone – no more inhalers
I honestly couldn't be happier. The asthma nurse even told me I was her star pupil and I ended up convincing her to join Slimming World too! 😊
Looking back at photos from 2016 compared to now, the difference is incredible. I'm now 4 stone 5 lbs lighter, healthier, happier, and at 67 years old I genuinely feel better than ever.
This journey has been life-changing, and I couldn't have done it without the amazing support of Viv Sears. Thank you for believing in me every step of the way. 💕 You truly are the best.

Picked up the Banana Pancakes from on Monday. Heated them up in the Airfyer & added my fruit & maple syrup from the skinny food co. This made a perfect breakfast. They were really tasty 😋 You can have 2 as your
healthy fibre choice.
Has anyone else tried them ?

Saturday mornings is where I escape to the The Art Loft Hampshire. This is my me time, my kind of Therapy where I can switch off & just concentrate on what I'm painting. Life can be really busy & stressful, but here is where I switch off from the world , 1 hour for me. Creating paintings & drawings learning new skills.

I suppose it's a bit like group, giving yourself some me time to focus on your weightloss journey, learning about yourself & your habits.

So apart from going to group what do you do for yourself. Please share below ❤️

🌷 Mothering Sunday 🌷

Today, we celebrate the women who shape our worlds in ways big and small; mums, step‑mums, grandmothers, mother‑figures, and the incredible women who lift, guide, and love us in their own unique ways.

For some, today is full of hugs, laughter, and shared moments.
For others like myself, it’s a day held gently, remembering mums who are no longer here, missing conversations we wish we could still have, or carrying love for relationships that were complicated or cut short.

My Mum, I miss dearly and think about often

Wherever you find yourself today, you are not alone. Every story matters. Every feeling is valid. Every version of motherhood deserves to be honoured.

To all the mums in our groups, thank you for the strength you show, the care you give, and the way you keep going even on the hardest days.

To those who long to be mums, who have lost mums, who have lost children, or who are navigating today with a tender heart, we’re holding space for you too.

Let’s celebrate the love that shaped us, the women who inspired us, and the resilience we carry forward because of them.
