Fleshy naevus

Fleshy naevus, raised centrally with ‘raspberry like surface’ and flat uniform mid brown pigment around base.

Compound nevi, also known as compound melanocytic nevi, are common types of moles that present as slightly raised, often dome-shaped, pigmented lesions on the skin.
They are termed “compound” because they contain clusters of melanocytes (pigment-producing cells) located both at the junction of the epidermis and dermis.

Typically, compound nevi are light brown to dark brown in colour, but they can also be skin-coloured. They usually have well-defined borders and a uniform appearance.

These nevi can appear anywhere on the body and are most often found during childhood or adolescence, with potential for growth proportional to the individual’s overall growth.

Cutaneous horn

A cutaneous horn is a hard, cone-shaped growth that projects from the skin, primarily composed of compacted keratin, which is the same protein that makes up human hair and fingernails.

More commonly seen in fair-skinned individuals and older adults between the ages of 60 and 80.

Frequently develops on sun-exposed areas like the face, ears, scalp, and hands.

It is important to get these pre examined because the base of the growth can mask a medical condition.

Seb K (seborrheic keratosis) is a noncancerous (benign) skin growth that often appears as a warty patch on the face, scalp, chest, or back.

They are usually asymptomatic, but can become itchy or irritated.

seborrhoeic keratosis tend to be more common in middle aged and older.

Causes of seborrheic keratosis
•Tends to run in families. Some people seem to inherit a tendency to get many of these growths.
•The sun may play a role in causing seborrheic keratoses.
•Seborrheic keratoses are not contagious. These growths may seem to multiply and spread to other parts of the body but people get more as they age.
