✨ Bright Smiles & Sunshine!!!

We are still buzzing for the amount of love and appreciation over the weekend.

Thank you friends, relatives & colleagues for making this day memorable for our residents.

Big thank you for the amount of support, love, appreciation and donations for our raffle, so far we managed to raised £387 and counting!!!! 🤩

All proceeds will go towards our activities for us to be able to provide bigger & better events and activities for our residents.

✨ Today we had a different entertainment that visited us at St Anne's. Colin and his friends ( Dorris & Larry both Krestel) from Wings of Freedom came to our home.

Collin shared his rescue story with our curious residents. Wings of Freedom is a UK charity founded by Colin Sutherland that provides a free, 24-hour rescue service for injured owls and birds of prey, alongside therapeutic, sensory activity visits for care homes and people with special needs.

🤝 Grief is a personal Journey, you don't have to walk it alone.

Walking together: Family Support through grief and transition was born out of inspiration to provide a safe space for our family members and relatives to share their grief & experiences in a supported and loving environment, surrounded by people & professionals who can walk them through the process of grief & loss.

We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to RC Payne Funeral Directors to Emma and Emma ( yes we were lucky to have both Emma ) who provided us with practical tips to go through loss & grief.

Grief and loss can be debilitating as grief impacts your innermost emotions, Its a reminder that you no longer have what once meant so much to you.

To our St Anne's Nurses, Diya our End of Life Champion who shared her clinical expertise as well as to our Wellbeing team for organising this event.

This kind of event always warms our heart as it helps us reconnect with our residents families and friends who will always be part of our home.
