What a wonderful family day we’ve had today, it was lovely to see so many people here celebrating with us.

A huge thank you to Hayley from Circa Hoops Entertainment everyone loved learning circus skills! Thank you to Demi for our face painting, Chef Adam for a great BBQ and everyone who helped us.

The cloudy weather didn’t stop us! We listened to music, enjoyed each other’s company, and had fun playing a few ball games. Another lovely afternoon filled with smiles and laughter!

Earlier today we did some colouring in the lounge. Anyone interested in joining in could choose a picture they liked and get started with their coloring.

Coloring can help improve fine motor skills, concentration and hand-eye coordination, while also sparking creativity and delivering a relaxing experience.

In the end everyone had fun with their choices, and it was nice to observe their happy faces and their beautiful art!

A little round up of our day here at Woodlands House…

This morning we had another great keep fit class with Curtis, our residents enjoy this regular activity that keeps us fit! We then spent the afternoon in the garden, enjoying ice lollies whilst doing a 50s and 60s guess the song game.
