Southampton libraries are offering free blood pressure checks as part of Know Your Numbers! Week ✅

Residents can drop in for a free blood pressure and mini health checks at:

✅ Central Library: Tuesday 8 September, between 10.30am - 2pm
✅ Bitterne Library: Wednesday 9 September, between 10am - 2pm
✅ Lordshill Library: Thursday 10 September, between 10am – 2pm

No appointment is needed and the checks only take a few minutes, making it easy for people to find out more about their health and take action if needed.

Council representatives were on the streets of St. Mary's this week to gather feedback from residents and business owners about what it's like to live and work in St. Mary's. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak so openly.

🌞In spite of the heatwave, enthusiastic patients turned up at Portswood Library for a Sit Stretch Relax session offered by Sea City Partnership.

If you're interested to join, please note that there are only 5 spaces available for each session at 11 am and 11.30 am on a first come, first served basis.

It's advisable to allow plenty of time to get to the library before the sessions begin if you'd like to begin the week mindfully. If there are no spaces left, you can put your name on the waiting list.
