Annemarie is a member of the British Dietetic Association and is registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). She sees clients in her private clinic in Southampton, and in addition, offers home, telephone, email and Skype appointments. She works with her clients to put together an individualised action plan which takes into consideration medical background, condition, nutritional requirem

ents, activity and lifestyle. She is also skilled in leading group work (such as weight loss groups), providing training and workshops to small and large groups, and producing high quality resources. Annemarie is experienced in consulting on a wide range of nutritional and dietetic issues including weight loss, diabetes, allergies/intolerances, women's health, vitamin/mineral deficiencies and under 5s nutrition & healthy eating to name but a few. She has recently achieved a her Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Nutrition (with Distinction) so is qualified to provide sports nutrition advice.

A pleasure to be involved in developing Wessex AHSN's new e-learning module on hydration in older people which was released today!!

👉 Aimed at community carers at any level or role, including care home and domiciliary carers, unpaid carers, family carers and volunteers (suitable for anyone really / general interest - check it out!)
👉Takes approx 45 minutes to complete
👉 Aims to dispel common myths around hydration, e.g. why use of urine colour is NOT suitable in older people
👉Covers 3 key objectives (how poor hydration can impact older people; how to assess older peoples’ hydration needs; how to address an older person’s hydration needs) followed by an assessment
