I will presenting a workshop for the Theraplay Institute for Theraplay therapists who work with children who are dissociating into their defence mechanisms in therapy and at home/school when their attachment system is activated. This training is particularly useful for Theraplay therapists working with children who have been adopted or who are in care but it is also useful for therapists working with biological children with a history of trauma. Theraplay is widely used in the US and UK for children who are adopted or who are in care.
