In Reiki Level 2, Okuden, we are introduced to the first three sacred symbols. I often notice that students can feel a little hesitant or shy about using them, but the best way to learn is simply to dive in. The symbols are tools, and like any tool, they can only be mastered through regular, creative practice. With Reiki, there is no risk of harm - and the same is true for the symbols. Use them with intention, but remember that Reiki always works for our highest good, not necessarily for a specific outcome.

Yesterday I drew a large Cho Ku Rei in the sand, setting the intention to call my energy back in a balanced and harmonious way.
