Deep in the wood, where the curiosity patch grows,
A mouse tiptoed forth on the trail no one knows.
"Is the Gruffalo real?" all the little ones cried,
So we followed his paw-prints, deep into the wide.
Where lullabies rock the babes soft in our arms,
Baby massage weaving safety and calm.
The sensory seekers now wriggle and creep,
Through owl-hooted branches and shadows so deep.
Then wildlings come stomping, both walking and talking,
Past terrible claws and a terrible-tusked gawking.
With rhyme in the rustle and song in the breeze,
We'll dance with the Gruffalo under the trees.
So bring your small creatures, from babes to preschoolers,
For massage, for movement, for songs and for rulers
Of make-believe forests where nothing's too scary,
Just Coco, the Gruffalo, and one mouse so wary.
