Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Robert Jerome to Cedars, who entertained us with a relaxing afternoon of opera and musical favourites. 🎶❤️
His beautiful voice drifted across the room, creating a wonderfully peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone to sit back, relax and enjoy the music.

Today we said a fond farewell to Anna Holdstock the Deputy Manager , after 7 years and 4 months with us at Cedars. 💐
We would like to thank Anna for all her hard work, commitment, and the wonderful support she has given to both our residents and colleagues during her time with us. Her contribution to the home has been greatly appreciated, and we are truly grateful for everything she has done.

As Anna begins her new chapter with a trip Down Under, please join us in wishing her every success, happiness, and all the very best for the future. 🇦🇺❤️

Today, our residents at Cedars Care Home had a truly special visit from the adorable miniature Pomeranians of Pawsitive Social Society! 🐾❤️
The excitement began the moment we knew our fluffy visitors were on their way. Soon, the home was filled with wagging tails, happy smiles, laughter and plenty of cuddles as these tiny bundles of joy arrived to brighten everyone’s day. 🐶✨

🐾 The Magic of In-Room Visits
While many residents enjoyed meeting the puppies together, the wonderful team from Pawsitive Social Society also made sure that residents who preferred the comfort of their own rooms could experience the joy too.
Our furry friends were gently lifted onto laps for special one-to-one visits, bringing comfort and companionship right to residents’ doors. Little wet noses, soft cuddles and wagging tails created some beautiful moments and sparked plenty of smiles and conversation.

It was a heartwarming reminder of just how much happiness animals can bring. We’re so grateful to Pawsitive Social Society for making sure everyone at Cedars Care Home could share in the puppy love! 🐾💕

​Step back in time to the golden age of holiday camps! Today at Cedars Care Home, our residents traded the everyday for yellow coats, retro tunes, and classic seaside fun.
​The nostalgic energy Competition was fierce, but the Anna Team triumphed to take home the winner's trophy! Laughter echoed down the corridors as we crowned our resident royalty—Miss Cedars Pamela and Mr Cedars Paul.
​The afternoon culminated in a wonderful live musical performance by Brian Shaw, complete with all our favorite sing-along classics. We even had a cheeky throwback sound effect of a "baby crying in chalet number 3" to capture that authentic, heartwarming holiday camp charm!
​At Cedars, every day is about celebrating life, creating moments of joy, and cherishing wonderful memories together.

An Unforgettable 80s Afternoon Tea! 🫖🍰
​There is nothing quite like the magic of music to transport you back in time, fill the room with laughter, and get everyone moving!
​We had the absolute pleasure of hosting a fantastic afternoon featuring the incredible Brian Shaw, and his sensational 80s hits show. From timeless classic anthems to brilliant banter, he had the entire room singing along, tapping their feet, and hitting the dance floor.
​Paired with a wonderful spread of delicious afternoon tea, delicate cakes, and hot tea flowing, it was a recipe for pure joy and wonderful memories. Days like this remind us just how powerful music, connection, and community truly are.
