I stumbled across this beautiful memory tree while out walking at the weekend. Each cup hanging from its branches held a memory of someone loved and lost. I think this is such a creative and meaningful way to honour grief and connection.
Moving forward after loss can feel incredibly difficult. Finding ways to remember and stay connected to the people we’ve lost can be an important part of grieving and healing. There’s no “right” way to do this - only what feels meaningful to you.
Some ways people hold connection with loved ones who have died:
💚 Creating a memory box filled with photos, keepsakes, letters or scents.
💚 Writing letters to the person you’ve lost.
Visiting a place that holds special memories.
💚 Listening to music or looking through photographs that bring moments back to life.
💚 Creating small rituals or traditions in their honour.
What do you do to stay connected to the people you have lost?
