The “and” allows us to evaluate the situation and decided if this is achievable or not and make a conscious decision what to do. The but encourages us to just disregard our wants and needs

Life can get pretty hectic we seem to be juggling more and more and expecting so much more from ourselves then we do from anyone else. It’s ok to prioritise yourself it’s ok to take the time you need, it will make all those balls you have to juggle feel much lighter if you allow yourself to put them down for a little while
