A simple tractor and trailer, sunflowers gathered with care, and a quiet moment outside a familiar barn — all chosen with love by the family. Funerals can be deeply personal, and sometimes the most meaningful tributes are those that speak softly of someone’s everyday world. It was a privilege to help create a journey that felt true to them.

In the Gospel, Jesus encourages gentle reconciliation: approaching others with honesty and compassion, seeking peace rather than division.

For families who are grieving, these readings offer reassurance that love expressed through small, steady acts of care is never wasted. It is what holds communities together, especially in difficult times.
