Today, we celebrated our Watering Walk Challenge and the wonderful achievements of our residents. It was a lovely morning filled with smiles, certificates, lots of applause and a good opportunity to recognise everyone's dedication and participation. 💚👏

This week has been full of different activities! From walks in the garden 👣🌿 and watering the flowers 🌺, to watching the Hungarian Grand Prix 🏎️, playing cards ♦️ and doing jigsaw puzzles 🧩. We also enjoyed a trip into town 😁 🚍

As part of our person-centred Make a Wish initiative, we were delighted to fulfil one of Shirley's most heartfelt wishes: to revisit the iconic Boston Stump, a place filled with treasured memories and deep personal significance🗼
What made this day truly extraordinary was the presence of Shirley's beloved family🫂 Relatives travelled from near and far to share this special occasion, to celebrate, reminisce and create new memories alongside her👏
Following their visit the family enjoyed a wonderful lunch together, filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations and stories from years gone by🍴☕
We are privileged to support moments like this, helping our residents to write meaningful chapters in their life stories🌟
Seeing Shirley surrounded by those she loves, smiling and making precious new memories, was a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved💝

We're encouraging our residents to complete as many walking routes 🚶‍♀️🚶as possible, either individually or as part of a group 👏✨So far, 21 residents have joined the challenge, and we filled lots and lots of watering cans 💧💦along the way!

At the end of the challenge 🏆, we'll celebrate everyone's achievements and every participant's fantastic effort will be recognised and appreciated. Each participant will receive a Watering Walk Challenge Certificate 💐❇️🏆
