All of us at Beech Lodge would like to thank everyone who attended the garden party on Sunday and for making it such a special day. 🥰 We would also like to thank everyone for their kind and generous donations, which helped us raise an amazing £222.00 for the residents' comfort fund. 🎉
A big thank you to Richard for all of your hard work in creating such a beautiful and relaxing garden for our residents to enjoy. 🙏🏻Also, a big thank you to Matt for helping us with the raffle, tombola, and craft stall during the garden party, especially since Arsenal were playing too!💜⚽

And here is the Final part of our garden party. 🥰 It was lovely to see so many people outside and enjoying the garden that our residents and staff have worked hard on this year. 💜 We hope you all enjoyed your tombola and raffle prizes, and that Dave's family enjoyed collecting over 60 paper flowers and winning a prize for the most flowers found (I've still found some more in the garden today).

Beech Lodge Garden Party, wow, what fun we all had. 🎉We spent the morning setting up and getting everything ready for the garden party. We had a packed Tombola stall, a raffle, homemade products from residents, a find-the-flowers competition, and a cake stall. 🎂Not forgetting some delicious food prepared by our own chefs.💜

This week at Beech Lodge we have been busy preparing for the Garden Party at the weekend. 🪴🌷🌿🥳🪅. We have also celebrated the birthday of Mavis, with a beautiful birthday cake 🎂🥳🎈 and decorations. We've spent some time in the garden today, harvesting the potatoes,🥔 which there were far more of than we expected in this heat. We also planted some fab dahlias,💐🌸 kindly donated to us from Anthony, a previous resident's son. 💖 Jean popped outside to inspect our new umbrellas, 🏖️ also very kindly donated to us by Jean's daughter, Louisa.
We feel so very lucky to have such supportive and generous families here at Beech Lodge. Thank you so much 💜

We had quite a competitive couple of games of ten-pin bowling and 'toss the bean bag' this morning! After a bit of haggling, it was decided it was a draw, so we took the decision to calm things down a bit and complete a couple of our favourite jigsaws. 🧩 The seaside🌊 one provoked a lot of memories of childhood, and we spent a short time down memory lane. 💜
