We are so excited to announce our collaboration with OddBalls.

OddBalls are in the process of designing and making bespoke OddBalls x Talk Stick products. Not only will this be an amazing way for us to raise funds for Talk Stick but also to create much needed awareness and continuing to spread the word on “breaking the silence” for mental health.

OddBalls established ‘The OddBalls Foundation’ which is the UK’s leading charity raising awareness of Testicular Cancer – the most common cancer affecting men aged 15–49 in the UK.
Our goal at Talk Stick resonates with Oddballs – “because conversations can save lives” 🗣️

We are so excited to reveal an OddBalls x Talk Stick Bobble Hat to keep you warm on match days and training sessions as well as for spectators on the side.

We also have being made an OddBalls x Talk Stick towel. Fellas in the changing room at hockey - start the conversation and check in with your mates after a game whilst drying yourself with our fantastic bold design and product.

We will reveal prices, how to buy oddballs products soon….

A vital resource for us to share. These 2 posters reminding us there’s always support. The first conversation is the hardest and talking to your friends may seem impossible but there is other support available.

This is still relatively new and you'd be amazed the number of people still unaware of this and this post could help or signpost any of us, whether it be family or friends or even ourselves!

Did you know if you struggling with your mental health you can now get support from 111.

The change means the NHS in England is one of the first countries in the world to offer access to a 24/7 full package of mental health crisis support through one single phone line.

People of all ages, including children, who are in crisis or concerned about family and loved ones can now call 111, select the mental health option 2 and speak to a trained mental health professional.

It's never a sign of weakness, more a sign of strength if you feel you need this support. You are not alone and help is available through all services.

Our local team who help deliver our mental health sessions Bro Pro UK are only ever a message away.

Let's break the stigma together
Speak up. Reach out. For Talk Stick we are breaking the silence and want to support one another.
Because every voice matter! Support is there and we want everyone to know this!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Talk Stick has been shortlisted for the 2026 England Hockey Awards in the Diversity & Inclusion Champion category 🏑✨

This nomination means so much to us as we continue working to create open conversations, challenge barriers, and make hockey a more inclusive space for everyone and ensure no one ever feels alone, help is available and it’s okay to not be okay.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, shared, and believed in our project so far — this recognition belongs to us all and on the night of the award we will truly be grateful to be recognised to what we have done so far.

It’s not about winning, it’s a step in our journey on “breaking the silence” and ensuring men in our sport know the signs to be there for one another so thank you England Hockey

A weekend of Talk Stick promotion at Spalding Hockey Club and ueahockeymens

SHC and UEA celebrated there annual club balls.

Amongst all the laughs, fun, dancing and celebrations was the message of "Talk Stick" as we continue to aim to make a difference.

SHC guys wore orange bow ties, the colours of Talk Stick.

A huge thanks to UEA and Spalding’s very own Tom Amess for supporting and promoting Talk Stick and wanting to raise awareness by donating and spreading the word to make that message clear for our hockey family, on our mission to break the silence and spreading the word at his university.

Keep checking in on your friends, team mates and loved ones during this off season period. The really strong friend, the really loud and vibrant friend, really make sure they are okay and check in and make sure no one feels they are alone!
